GJ’s Computer Services offers a range of services. All of these are services that existing customers require. GJ ’s also will bring in outside consultants in areas where different expertise is required.
If a service is required that is not listed here please feel free to contact so that we can assist or at least point you in the right direction.
An important service that GJ’s offers is finding the best and most competitive deals (free in many instances) that are available to customers. These include free software, coupons that can be used to lower the cost of an item, places where the same item can be purchased at a lower price than where you may first locate it or see it advertised.

These services include -Coaching and training sessions are a minimum of one hour and a maximum of two hours in one sitting; (Customers can book a package of lessons to save money)

- Explanations about your equipment, additional things that you can do with your computer;
- How to print, edit and email photos;
- How to use various programmes such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Internet Explorer and countless other a pplications;
- How to save files;
- How to change computer settings, both from a security standpoint, as well as from an ease of use perspective.
- Typing and formatting documents;
- PowerPoint presentations;
- How to effectively shop on Ebay and Amazon;
- Set up Excel spreadsheets;
- Plus many more services.
Homework exercises include improving your typing and keyboard skills;
After lesson support, which may include step-by-step written instructions.
- Seniors Discounts and Dog Owner Discounts;
GJ’s provides a discount for services to all eligible Senior’s Card Holders. All customers receive a discount if they are dog owners. To receive the discount dog owners/computer customers must provide the following information – name of dog, age and breed. So, if you are both a Senior, as well as a dog owner a double discount will apply.

GJ’s uses a range of tools to diagnose virus, spyware, Trojan horse infections and where possible return your system to a clean state.

All too often your home computer and network are left open for potential access from external sources. GJ’s makes sure that all your settings are correct and working properly.
- Training on a range of applications, including all Microsoft Office programs (Office 2000, Office 2003 and Office 2007);
- Get the most from Email and the Internet and shopping online;

Due to globalisation it is now far more cost-effective to outsource web development, software development etc outside Australia – i.e. utilise two features of our new world a global workforce and online communication. GJ’s will handle these communications on your behalf, saving you time and frustration.

GJ’s runs a range of technical reports on your system to check system performance, where settings can be altered to improve the computer’s performance, check that your security settings are correct and much more.
- Home technology audits - a report on all your connections, model and serial numbers;
- How to connect and use MP3 Players (e.g. Ipods), and handheld devices (e.g. Blackberry and Palm devices), including synchronisation of data between your computer and the device.
